Spin pumping at interfaces with ferro- and paramagnetic Fe<sub>60</sub>Al<sub>40</sub> films acting as spin source and spin sink

We present a study of spin pumping efficiency and determine the mixing conductance diffusion length in thin bilayer films based on 3d transition metal alloy Fe 60 Al 40 . Due to its magnetostructural phase transition, can be utilized as ferromagnetic (FM) or paramagnetic (PM) material at same temperature depending structural order; thus film act source sink when interfaced with paramagnet ferromagnet, respectively. Ferromagnetic resonance measurements were performed frequency range 5–35 GHz composed FM–Fe /Pd PM–Fe /Ni 80 20 (permalloy). The increase damping thickness layer was interpreted result into paramagnet. [Formula: see text] interface Pd. For /permalloy interface, we find for demonstrated bi-functionality structures may promising spintronic applications.
